About PublisherAtlas

Who we are, where our data comes from, and why we built a transparent directory of the premium ad-network publishing ecosystem.

Last updated: 2026-11-04

What PublisherAtlas is

PublisherAtlas is a subscription directory of the premium ad-network publishing ecosystem — a structured, searchable view of 30,000+ websites that monetize with display advertising through Mediavine, Raptive (formerly AdThrive), Ezoic, and Journey by Mediavine.

For each publisher we profile traffic, engagement, Domain Rating, audience geography, organic keywords, domain registration data, and a model-based revenue estimate — so that niche-site builders, affiliate marketers, and site acquirers can make decisions on data instead of guesswork and survivorship-biased income reports.

Why we built it

The same questions kept getting answered badly online:

  • "What niches actually make money with display ads?" — answered by cherry-picked income reports.
  • "Is this niche worth entering?" — answered by forum anecdotes.
  • "What is a site like this worth?" — answered by whoever is selling.

We realized the public seller lists of these networks were, in effect, a continuously updated census of monetizable content sites — and nobody had made it searchable. PublisherAtlas is that census, enriched with third-party data and a transparent estimation model.

Data principles

  1. Public sources only. Network membership comes from the networks' own published sellers.json files. Registration dates come from public RDAP records. Traffic intelligence is licensed from third-party providers. We never access private systems.
  2. Estimates are labeled as estimates. Revenue figures are model outputs, calibrated across the ecosystem — useful for scale and comparison, never a replacement for verified books. See our methodology.
  3. Independence. PublisherAtlas is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the networks or data providers mentioned. All product names are trademarks of their respective owners.
  4. Corrections welcome. Site owners who believe an entry is inaccurate can reach us and we will review it.

Who it's for

  • Niche-site builders hunting for proven, low-competition markets
  • Affiliate and content marketers studying what premium publishers do
  • Site acquirers and flippers sourcing and screening deals with data
  • Agencies and tool builders who need the ecosystem mapped

What's next

The directory refreshes monthly as the networks' seller lists change. On the roadmap: more enrichment fields, deeper niche hubs, and recurring ecosystem reports (the first study is live).
